A law firm in East-Central London are looking for a locum employment solicitor to supervise their caseworkers for 1 day per week for a period of 12 months. You should be an experienced solicitor with managerial/supervisory experience and the confidence to provide supervision support to solicitors and paralegals on often complex employment law caseloads to include:

.       challenging all forms of discrimination, including racial discrimination in sports;
.       disputing terms of employment or violations resulting from direct or indirect discriminatory behaviour;
.       conducting investigations and taking statements;
.       constructive dismissal claims;
.       challenging unfair disciplinary action;
.       redundancy-related matters;
.       employment tribunal advice;
.       equal pay grievances;
.       harassment in the workplace; and
.       contractual issues.

The firm would ideally like a fixed-term contract arrangement for this and you will need to attend their offices in Farringdon.
